WHERE WE COME FROM

My name is Claudia and La Capricciosa is my home. A traditional restaurant of the Nordic region of Italy, where we revive the recipes of Nonna Rita, my grandmother. It's cuisine is characterized by hearty dishes, products of true Italian heritage and traditional preparations, with lots of butter and wine. Long ago "La Nonna" showed my mother Carolina, the delicacies they ate in Bolzano, Italy my father's hometown. My Mom, taught Giovanni, my brother, and we all grew up with my father Alfredo raising pigs for sale in Ecuador. Giovanni learned the art of chaculterie in Italy and I love hosting people, so that's how La Capricciosa was born. We serve the food like we always did at home, so you can taste the recipes for main dishes, between chaculterie, cheeses, wines and desserts. Located on the magic slopes of mount Ilaló, in Quito - Ecuador and placed in the middle of an Algarrobos forest, we have green areas and children's games, breathing country air very close to the city with a spectacular view.
